Ace is the first to realize his feelings, way before Lana, but didn’t say anything — once Lana cottoned in on her feelings, she wasted no time.

Ace is a hothead and temperamental, and Lana is BluntTM and hard to fire up. She tends to sometimes apologize without understanding what the fuss is about, to get a fight over with; while Ace calms down quickly but takes a little to forgive and apologize.

Lana loathes cooking. She can create something edible, but cooking is a chore.

Ace is a fantastic driver, but he drives fast. Lana is in possession of a very well-trained self-preservation instinct and would like to stay in one piece, thanks.

It is my headcanon that Ace, just like Luffy, has trouble writing. They know how to read, slowly, and can put some words down if they concentrate, but actually writing ... no. and let‘s not get started on orthography.

Both of them are really bad at reading and giving romantic signals. Ace is slightly better.

Lana has the benefit of sensing the spiritual energy of spirits which also largely means their emotional state. Even without that, Ace is better at reading people.
