The art is pretty rough in here, though I like the design itself for Ken's final state. Ken's dialogue is pretty whatever, but it's fun to hear Kukri doing his thing, helps it stand out just a bit.

I dont quite agree with charo, I do believe you've gotten better over time. That said I do think you could heavily benefit from some tools to make your art jut a little cleaner, I think it would go a long way. Maybe thats not in the cards for you at the moment though. MMaybe if you focused on doing more detailed 3 step sequences instead in that case you could evolve that way?

As for the piece itself I really like it. The idea is more original than a lot of others in the contest and its a smooth sequence. I will always prefer some kind of dialogue with my sequences so that was also a bonus.Ken's final design I'm in love with.

In terms of originality and theme you're golden, and as I said your grasp of how sequences work and even neat designs are all there. You just need to find some way to step up your skill.

For the positives I don't think your designs were bad and I liked the touch of the different fonts for the two characters, but I think you're reaching the end of your growth on your current drawing device and really need something that'll let you articulate more. The dialogue bubbles are awkwardly formatted(and I'll talk about the writing in a bit) and your line work is rough and still feels sketchy and amateurish. You actually are good at posing, but it's hard to shine at it when your fingers look like sausages and your forms still seem unpolished.

While I get what you were going for with the background, there isn't much unique or stunning about them and they just add to the overall amateurish feeling. The dialogue is also standard. I've seen the "What's this weird glow, I don't notice what's going on, boobs(?!), Oh no I'm a girl" formula a lot and it needs to have a certain style or poetry to it to get me to think it's anything above the norm. There are also a fair number of mistakes. I'm assuming your device doesn't have apostrophes because every time one was needed it wasn't there. Also "mademoiselle" is how you spell it.

I know I'm being harsh, but sometimes people need a kick in the ass to get better and it's not like I think you're untalented. I think you already have an eye for designs and poses, but you need to improve your art overall for them to really stand out. You've done a lot of fine work, but you need to start doing better.
