Description A variation on a late 1930's dress pattern. Made from a stretch peach silk charmeuse.

This dress was made for one of my trips to Sleep No More. Keeping w/ the theme of the show, some friends and I had planned to do film noir versions of Shakespearean heroines. The original styling was supposed to be Juliet, however I never managed to get any decent shots of it, so I decided to do an impromptu photoshoot in our living room so my husband could test out his new camera. Channeling Hedy Lamarr.

Also, why do I own a white sofa? That's like the worst idea ever.

You have some of the most elaborate and unusual cosplay.  It was nice to rest my eyes from all of the superhero bright colors.  Subtle is hard to do in cosplay I would imagine. Well done.

This may not be your thing... it's not elegant like your work but I have an art/psychology project I just started.  I'm trying to find interesting, creative people to try it and give me feedback.  It's called Psymily and it makes visualizations of your personality and moods.  You can see examples on my DA page or just jump into an analysis at psymily.com .

It's fun and weird... so let me know.
