Description A drawing I did at RP tonight of Shiz as a young child of the Underdark. He's dirty and bruised mostly because he does a lot of hiding and crawling around in dark places in the house so his mother and sisters can't find him. He's wearing short breeches underneath the tunic, but it's sort of oversized so he can wear it a long time.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate all your kind comments and I'm so glad you love him so much! I want to continue to try to talk myself into drawing more of him and trying to really get a comic idea drawn out in stone all the way. Thank you again. You don't know how much your comment really helped me to believe in my work again today.

Well, honestly, I don't see enough well-done pics for young dark elves anywhere, they seem to be a neglected subject Where Drow come from seems just as important to me, personally.

I love the pencil work here, hun. Excellent.The framing and composition. You make him look very real like he could actually say something.
Spider tunic is a nice touch to.
I see some wisdom in his eyes as well as everything else the other posters have mentioned. This kid is a clever survivor.

I'm glad you like his intelligent eyes too! I'm seriously shocked that you mentioned it only because I was talking to someone else about him being able to survive and mentioned how smart he is. He's so quiet and introverted though that not a lot of people realize how smart he is. Thank you!

Hee hee. I'm glad you like him enough to be interested in him!

I do have a back story for him, but not anywhere online. I'm reluctant to put it up because I plan on drawing it out in a comic one day, and then offering it to people here for purchase.

He got his scars from the whips of his mother and sisters though, because he's really too 'good' for his own good, and refused to follow Lolth's teachings more than he agreed to them.
