Poor little heart, seeking love in all the wrong places.
This is a little teaser of the work I have been doing for the past couple of months (and that isn't finished yet because I'm so slow, ahah)... The first of my four pieces for the eight-handed show I am doing in Roma in January, with the ever-so-talented Benjamin Lacombe, Lostfish and Zoe Lacchei.
I'm very very excited, I'll tell you more about the show in due time.
And no, you're not seeing anything else before the show. Sorry!

Oooh isso beautiful!! I love the way you mix medias in your pieces and give them all both a classy watercolour look and a modern, clean, marker look. This piece reminds me of a quote from one of my favorite movies:
"A long, long time ago, in a grey sad country, there was a magic rose that made whoever plucked it immortal. But no one would go near it because its thorns were full of mortal poison. So amongst the men tales of pain and death were told in hushed voices, but never of the promise of eternal life... because men fear pain more than they want immortality. So every day the rose witled unable to bequeath its gift to anyone-- alone and forgotten at the top of the mountain. Forgotten until the end of time..."

Loved this one very much! I like the mysterious concepts you put in your drawings (like the group of those heart signals in the wall) and oh, you drew some nice teethy monsters! they make a nice contrast with that wonderful lady at the top. her white and loooong hair is so cool ;w;
