iΒ΄m still learning myself! what i did learn this time, is that is better to make different layers.in one the background, other for each of the big things and others for smaller parts.redistribute the things,then merge in one layer,use the tool called displacement in filters--> other. i use it to move things to the borders several times (with the around and preview checked, so i can see how the pattern will look tiled and fit/move more things ,were it looks dull.
From the designing aspect, i learned today that its better to make sure everything flows in a harmonious way.nothing too big or too small and thingies have to be close and not very contrasting.
