Originally, I'd concpetualized H.H as a Care Bear version of one of my OCs, but...I kind of like the concept. Redesigned and built on it.

Loss, unfortunately, is something that everyone experiences at some point in their lives. The scenario, size and depth of it may be subjective, but one thing that tends to be the same across the board is the emotions that come with it: sometimes anger, sometimes sadness, sometimes fear...heck, sometimes a combo of so many that you can't give it a name, per se. You just..."are". Yes, a number of the other Care Bears could help you work your way through these feelings (Always There Bear is great for dispensing hugs in this kind of situation!), but...what about in the moment? Where everything comes crashing down and you've lost your footing?

That's where Healing Hearts Bear comes in.

With an angelic big heart and three patched up smaller hearts below it, they're ready to offer any sort of help they can, and try to "patch up" the broken hearts and pieces of stability that may have resulted. Whether it's a laugh, a hug, someone to reminisce with, or even just some space (but someone to still check up on you)- Healing Hearts is there. They also know that a Care Bear alone may not fully help with dealing with these new, potentially frightening emotions- and does their part in encouraging those to seek out help when they need it. Need a buddy to go with you? That's them!
