Korin Hoshino is a third year student at U.A. High School and is studying to become a Pro Hero. They are part of Class 3-A. They also work as a mentor for Class 1-C.
◣ A p p e a r a n c e ◥

███ Appearance
Korin is relatively tall, with notably long legs. They have a distinguished hourglass figure and moderately toned muscles. Apart from their figure, they sport white hair, which they keep short with a triangular undercut in the back, tanned skin and green eyes.

Korin wears the male U.A. uniform at school, with a vest instead of a blazer. Occasionally they will wear a skirt instead, just to throw people off.

Their casual attire tends to be made up of leather jackets, tube tops or shirts with exposed midriffs, slim-fit pants, and white loafers. They refuse to wear longer shirts in the winter until it snows for the first time. They also have an affinity for dramatic makeup

Their hero costume consists of an insulated white bodysuit, a blue and pink jacket, blue and pink thigh-high boots, and two oxygen monitor rings--one for each hand. They also wear red and blue makeup in a tribal-esque manner. Because the costume is insulated so well, it has no winter variation.
███ Personality
(+) Korin is by no means the most talkative person, but they still somehow manage to seem relatively approachable. They are typically polite, if rarely actually friendly, in their social interactions. They usually take some time to warm up to people, but once they do, they display a softer and more expressive side. Despite their tendency to come off as mildly apathetic in public, they quietly care about the people around them, though they don't express it often or in traditional ways.

They have an incredibly sharp mind, which lends itself well to their studies and training. They have a talent for tactics, and will take charge in situations where strategy is required. They make a distinct effort to always appear to have the situation under control, even when they don't, and can at least seem calm under pressure. Their smooth, quiet confidence has earned them much respect and admiration amongst their classmates.

Surprisingly, they seem to be a bit of a thrill seeker and have been known to do unnecessarily dangerous things on occasion just for the exhilaration. They enjoy sparring, whether or not they win or lose. They are the most expressive and animated while fighting, and find it energizing.

(-) Korin's quiet, observant nature is frequently seen as judgmental or apathetic. Their lack of distinct friendliness works against them when it comes to making friends, and they have a tendency to leave an unfavorable impression on people. Though they do care about the people around them, they don't express it often enough, and their relationships suffer for it. It isn't like they mean to hurt anyone, but people get hurt nonetheless.

Outside of combat, they abhor chaos and disorder, and will go to great lengths to avoid or tame it. This tends to make them come off as bossy or controlling, to the further detriment of their relationships. They also have trouble improvising when their plans go awry, and tend to panic--though they never show it. When they feel stressed, they often take on more responsibilities, following the saying "if you want something done right, do it yourself". This, of course, only adds to their stress, making them prone to breaking down.

Though they would never needlessly put others in danger, their love of the thrill puts themself in danger and sometimes clouds their judgement, leading them to make questionable decisions. They will try to fight more opponents than they can reasonably handle, just for the feeling of being in danger.

Left Brain, Right Brain (左脳、右脳, Sanō, unō ): Korin can split themself into two versions, which each take on the traits of a "left brained" and "right brained" person. The left side--dubbed Kiki--takes on a blue tint, and is more logical, analytical, and objective. The right side--dubbed Bubblegum--takes on a pink tint, and is more intuitive, creative, and emotional. Occasionally memories made right before splitting are forgotten, and pieces of Korin's personality are divided between the two, though everything else from original Korin is retained.

The longer Korin remains split, the less oxygen the full brain gets. If they do not come back together after around four minutes, they will suffer from oxygen deficiency and risk brain damage. If the split is maintained for six minutes, they will die, essentially suffocating while still breathing. If the sides do not stay within close proximity to each other while separated, they will experience major headaches until they become closer again. The longer they stay separate, the more aggressive they will become with each other. After cancelling the split, they must wait to split again until their oxygen level is back to normal.
