Okay, this poster has a very long backstory.

I originally wanted to make a movie poster parody of Attack of the Killer Shrews, using the flying muffins as the shrews. An old retro horror movie poster, the whole schtick. And I went to my room to start sketching them cowering together, as a mob of flying muffins swirls threateningly around them. (Such is my life.)

But it kept coming out horribly. Either the proportions were off or the poses didn't look natural or something. So I went to google and looked up pose references for the two of them.

As soon as I saw the 'Swag' pose for male stallions, it was like Delivery tapped me on the shoulder and went, "That! I want to look like that right there!"

And I said, "But Delivery, you're not full of swagger, you're a control freak and you have self esteem issues."

Then Delivery snorted and said, "I'm a mailpony! I take pride in my work! And when I'm out delivering mail, I strut down the street with some swagga in my step. So git to drawin' me, woman!"

And then my mother promptly called the authorities because I was having a conversation with a piece of my own art.

All silliness aside, daaaaannng does Delivery look good in this picture! Every time I draw him I get a little better at adding on all of the doohickeys like clothes and sleeves and hats. Wings are still off though. X_X
