"You," Dave said. Tapping a pencil on (Name)'s desk. "I need help on this problem."

(Name) briefly looked over at Dave before finishing her last answer. "What number is it?"

"Two."

(Name) sighed and got up from her seat. She walked over to Dave and crouched down.

"Alright," (Name) said. Readying her notebook. "What is it that you don't get."

"These dam percentages, I don't see why I'm getting it wrong."

"Let me see your work."

"I erased it."

(Name) looked at Dave. "Alright, Don't erase your work next time."

(Name) started to explain the basics of percentages. Dave already knew how to do it, but he just wanted to hear (Name) talk more than three words.

"So do you get it now?" (Name) questioned.

Dave nodded. "Yeah, thanks."

(Name) got up and returned to her seat. Dave heard John snicker across the room. John was the only one beside from Dirk who knew about Dave's little crush on (Name).

After a couple minutes the bell rang signaling the end of school. Everyone hastily grabbed there stuff and exited the classroom. John was waiting outside the door for Dave.

"I didn't know you needed help on percentages." John said. He was already grinning from ear to ear.

"Shut up." Dave said.

"Why don't you just ask her out already?"

Dave just shrugged at the question. Waving his friend goodbye he started to walk home.

Asking (Name) out was easier said than done. (Name) wasn't the social type like most of his friends. (Name) never got invited to parties, but if she did there was always a excuse of why she couldn't go. She barely talks unless she knows you well enough or has to help someone. You never see her at lunch she usually spends her time with her friends outside.

Dave never really got why (Name) was like this. I mean wasn't everyone's goal to socialize and try to have as many friends as possible?

"So I heard you played stupid in math today for some special attention?" Dave turned his head around. It was no other than his brother Dirk.

"I don't know what your talking about." Dave mumbled.

"Well, it sounds like something you do," Dirk said. He quickened his pace so he could walk right next to Dave. "I mean like all you can do is ask her for help. With your shitstorm mob at your side all day I can see why you have to secretly like her to."

Unlike Dave, Dirk can actually talk to (Name) there good friends.

"Instead of telling me shit that I already know how about some fucking advice."

"I guess I can just tell her tonight she is coming over."

"Wait, she is?"

Dirk nodded "Yeah, I can tell her how you are deeply in love with her since middle school."

"Bro no."

"Oh yes Dave."

-later that night-

(Name) knocked on the apartment. Hearing mumbling curses the door opened to reveal Dirk.

"Hey Dirk." (Name) smiled.

"Sup."

Walking into the apartment you walked into Dirk's room.

"I see you still have your creepy plush toys." (Name) said looking around the room.

"Smuppets." Dirk replied.

"Ok," (Name) said. Clearing the chair of smuppets before sitting on it. "What's so important that you need to tell me."

Dirk cleared his throat. "Since I know you like my brother and shit."

(Name) blushed. "Do you really have to bring that up!"

"Hey Bro were the fuck is my swor-"

"As I was saying. Since you like Dave I made a plan." Dirk turned around to see his brother at the edge of the door.

"Hey Dave." Dirk said. Dirk went up to Dave and pushed him into the room.

" Also Dave likes you. Have fun."

The door slammed shut.
