i was shocked into actually making a critique!!!!
though this piece looks sketchy it is indeed what makes it work, that the piece looks unfinishable, as though rising to the heavens and unleashing the soul of freedom isnt enough...
a background would detract, and i can tell you are becoming more confident with your works here though i have never seen your work before...
many people feel this way these days, well done for encapsulating such an emotional piece with so few strokes of the pencil, as it were. deserving of critique.
if i had to make any judgements i would say that the feet may need a little work, though you draw with flair and obvious practice....
very well done.

0.0 what happened to his heart? ooohlala^^. I like how it looks like the bird was his heart, and it wanted to be free so it finally escaped. Very creative. also i really like how you shaded him in gray, and then the rest (except for the bird that had been part of him) is colored. love it^^
