XD i think hermit crabs are easy targets for cannibalism.. LOL and also smell funny.. XD

however, they're also extremely cheap in Florida..


XD but an octopus would be so FUN!! Dont even bother the packaging on his food, just drop it in his tank and watch him open it by himself..

but i dont know if you need a permit or how to even go about buying one..

oh.. I've never actually had one.. but i heard a story about a family member who had a really big one, and a little one, and when she got home from work, the little one was gone, so she figured the big one ate him.. I wouldnt think they would be able to get out of the enclosure.. << although now that I am thinking about it.. they have tiny little mouths, dont they.. XD well now I feel silly, lol

XD I found a hermit crab in the wild once.. I thought it was just an unusually perfect shell, but then my aunt started freaking out and i looked back at it and the crab was hanging out, like "wtf, put my house down!"

XD well he startled me!! I pick up a gorgeous shell and dont expect it to spontaneously grow legs, lol!! XD i'd never seen one out in the wild before, lol, so i didn't think he would be in there.. XD i thought I just got the most perfect shell on the beach..
