I went to an event called Warhammer Fest on Saturday with my friend here who is dressed as an Imperial Guardsman of the Death Korps of Krieg!I got the feeling that people weren't used to seeing people in costume as we were the only ones cosplaying there and turned many heads and must have had 100's of photos taken, haha!

Those costumes are brilliant. I wish I had the opportunity to go to these events, the community isn't big enough (non-existant) in Norway.

No offense to your friend, but just how polished your costume is, his feels almost underwhelming by comparison, even though it is good. Just some trimming around the edges to make it perfect... you did just that recently, so here's the difference.
