Description
This work reflects my impressions from Lewis Carroll's classic tale Alice in Wonderland. On the box's lid there is a moment from the beginning of the tale. Alice is falling down through the Rabbit's hole and penetrates into the Wonderland. The scene is painted in delicate violet and pink tones. Silver powder shines through the oils creating a sparkle of the bridge, the sea and the castle painted in the background. The depth of the sky is produced with the help of a mother-of-pearl inlay.
