Description
This was a quick color pencil sketch in an attempt to try using colored illustration board for the first time. I quite enjoyed it as the board was quite thick and able to take a fair bashing so I think I'll give it another go.Related content

I don't know if you know the artist Peter Max... but he was kind of the leading artist of the hippie generation... you might want to check some of his stuff out as further influence, reference material... and keep drawing those freakishly cool dream works! Love the sideways jelly fish!

where does your inspiration come from? the composition in your pics looks so professional and just plain awesome! i really am in awe of you!

My inspiration usually comes from a small begining .. a face , a tree , a frog ..and then expands from there. Rarely do I have an overall aim or theme although that seems to be happening more recently.
I also have a large library of reference material and stories from which I get inspiration.
Finally ,dreams are a satisfing source of inspiration and something I'm using more of this year.
