Description This took quite a while ! Colored pencil on illustration board.

Can anyone quess the original abstract inspiration I wonder ... the title is a hint.

There is a fair amount of detail but you might need a full view to see it.

I think this is one of your best works. I like it so much, and "Into Unto" its sweet too. Your non-colored draws reminds me a little bit of Escher β€”I don't know why.

Elysium its majestuous.-

I love the perception of 3D in your work, it's well done. Colors are stuning from my computer screen. I can't guess from which work it's inspired, but I can tell it surely is a great piece.

This was inspired by a long lost computer game of a similar name , Nebulus . I used to play in on a C64 over 20 years ago !

Did I mention how amazing you are in my last comment? If not -- you're amazing.
I love the colors, the detail, the pseudo-symmetry, the fact that I could stare at it for hours to pick up the detail but, in true Gestalt fashion, the image is more than just the sum of all the details.
Man, I would just love to see these live. You've got real talent.

HaHa ... well that would be a good guess to make given the subject matter . I think my brain is naturally overdosed in levels of DMT so I don't require linear psychoactive boosting. Unless you call 8bit computer games drugs that is.

coloured pencil! dude, that's unbelievable. would've taken a lot of planning too, it seems... There's a lot of symbolism going on that's been incorporated really decoratively. very very nice. might look better brightened a bit on photoshop though? just seems like the photo/scan is nowhere as good as the actual work

your blending skills are wicked. you should try water colour pencil crayons. they blend a lot easier, and you always have the option of running a wet paintbrush over your work to create more depth.

Shall do ... the original inspiration came from a 80s Commodore 64 computer game I had called Nebulus ( not Nebula ). If you google it you will probably find a screenshot of a little alien dude jumping around cylindrical towers. Thats where the inital idea came from ... draw some cylindrical towers ... and the rest evolved from there. Thanks for the favs and comments
