Description The Great Attractor is a gravity anomaly in intergalactic space within the range of the Centaurus Supercluster that reveals the existence of a localised concentration of mass equivalent to tens of thousands of Milky Ways, observable by its effect on the motion of galaxies and their associated clusters over a region hundreds of millions of light years across

the pc reflection is excellent. I'd never considered such a method for symmetry. I just struggled valiantly against a-symmetrical consummation jumping from page left to page right balancing imagery until my brain box fell out. now I stare, filled with wonder and awe, at what may be the most mind bending symmetrical presence I have ever laid eyes on. oh, damn. my brain box fell out again.

I wish i could someday draw things like that, and maybe i will, but for now, i will just stick to my flames, waves, and silly little lines.
lol, Great job by the way!

Good to look at this again...gives me an old school psych sensation. It should be a poster or foldout album cover from decades past. Quite a fascinating and well-balanced work...

I continue to be amazed by your linework. Very accomplished my friend...

Funnily enough I was just looking at a box set of Caran D'ache soft pencils a few days ago and the price nearly gave me a heart attack! Some day.....

I hope you will colour this as a separate upload - you have a special colouring technique also that I really do like

Not only is this absolutely spectacular but I also like that it has an astrological theme to it.
I'm assuming that this is somehow representative of that phenomenon?

That is SO impressive! Beautiful lines that twist into mirror images, how do you do that??!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

koalacid In reply to CorporateXLullabies [2008-03-17 02:42:21 +0000 UTC]

I draw one half of the image and use a real hand held mirror to check the progress of the image as I go. It takes a little pre-planning on where you want the elements to sit . Finally I import the image into GIMP and mirror the image . Sometimes it works well and seamlessly mirrors , othertimes not so well . Thanks for visiting my page . I like your recent Slain picture !
