Princess Keket =

A few years ago, I drew up a picture of a character, named "Princess Bastet," who was meant to be an adaptation of Kamen Rider ZX for Engine Rider, my Kamen Rider adaptation series ( www.deviantart.com/kobaltsteel…). The character was left dormant, as I abandoned the Engine Rider thing, but recently, I wanted to ressurect these old characters and turn them into fully original characters. In Princess Bastet's case, I changed a good deal of things, including her name (I didn't want her named after a goddess), but I did keep a good deal of her old traits, including parts of her backstory and insect themes.

The character design isn't perfect; while this is what she would wear in the MODERN day, I still need to work on Ancient "New Kingdom" Egypt clothing. Also, the character looks older than I want her to look... that needs to be worked on. Also, might change her wig design

Princess Keket is a (fictional) princess from the Egyptian New Kingdom era. Keket lived a life of a warrior, helping protect the kingdom of Egypt from hostile invaders AND interstellar threats, using reverse-engineered technology and equipment she made from an abandoned alien space craft, going by the alias of "Desert Drifter." One day, however, she had to deal with a threat from a Cult of Set, who want to take over the world in the name of Set, but these guys were like fighting literal gods, something she never had to do before; unable to defeat them, she decided to sacrifice herself by sealing herself away, along with the cult, in order to save Egypt. However, thousands of years later (in the modern day), Keket and the cult were unleashed when archaeologists broke the worn-down seal; now, she has to certainly defeat these gods while also surviving in a world that is practically alien to her.

Princess Keket, in terms of her personality, is a very quiet, serious, reserved, and studious individual who truly does have the qualities of a hero; brave, courageous, overachieving, noble, always volunteers to defend and help others, and always willing to do the right thing. However, being a lady from Ancient Egypt, she's a fish out of water in the modern world and is kind-of awkward due to this; she's not bad or stupid, she just doesn't know how to operate in this world. Aside from this, she is also a super intelligent mad scientist and engineer; she's able to create a ton of stuff, all of which are just super insane to even us today folk (and wildy inconcievable in the New Kingdom), like death rays, giant robots, power armor, nuclear engines, and all sorts of stuff, both used for battle AND for benefiting society as a whole.

As the Desert Drifter, Keket's powers and arsenal are based on insects, and she is another Kamen Rider-style superhero with giant robots. By connecting a large robot bug device onto a wrist morpher (which serves as a gun as well), power armor, based on that insect, materializes onto Keket's entire body and she also acquires a weapon from that monster as well (+ a gun-sword side-arm). By pressing certain buttons on her morpher, she can also activate special powers that can enhance her abilities temporarily, such as enegizing her fist for a special punch; she can also attatch the robot insect onto her belt to directly use the insect's powers, such as super speed when using the Roach form or enhanced strength with a beetle form. She can also use the robot insects as RC vehicles as well, either for spying on the enemy, aerial combat, or collecting things. She also can summon giant insect-themed robots that, like my other robots, can transform into alternative forms and even combine with other robots to form bigger ones; she controls them from within, using special VR armor and weapons.
