Side grumbling: Huh. It can't be "traditional" if it's a SWF file, eh? Would you have preferred the 131 MB file Flipbook spit out in all its wisdom?
So then I found out I have until next Thursday to finish this. Which means:
* this is a critquable WIP! 8D
* hopefully Benjy will get some actual animation.
* I can fix the little flaws and weird arcs.
* I can add inbetweens where I made the action way too fast.
So have at it! Tell me where you think I could improve, what you like that I have... whatever! I apologize for the really blurry image - My plan is to scan all the images in an actual scanner and compile 'em in Monkeyjam or something for the final version... so that you can actually read the facial expressions.

Awesome! I wish I could animate, well, I can, but it's all with mouse, and I hate mouse.
Tho everything I do HAS to me mouse. Grr.

This was good ol' pencil and paper. You've got that, dont'cha?

I know it was paper but These are the steps I have to do to go in paper and pencil:
Draw it
Put in on my scanner
Get my camera
Get my camera chip and place it in the scanner
Scan it on the chip
Place the chip in a boxthing
Hook a cord up to the box thing
Place one end of the cord in my computer
Shut down all the programs that are running
Wait for a bubble saying "Disc in"
Then title it
Then download it
Then shut it down before there are 122 copies of that on my computer.
If the above fails I have to delete all but one scanned
Then I downgrade the size
Then I download on dA
And animating would kill me needing to do all that Dx

This... is completely amazing.
I especially like how you thought to portray Viktor's non-bending knees. And the whole thing was just hilarious and ingenious and all that jazz.

Only critique I can give is that Viktor wouldn't strut so much, I don't think - his shoulder comes up a little too high - when he walks at the end of the animation, I think that's about right.
But uh, I don't know much about animation, so :I

Nono, you don't have to be able to animate to notice when things are wrong.
Turns out, my teacher kinda liked the strut when I showed the test, so I kept it in. However, I agree that it's a little too much. Strutting would still be fine, but more subtle. Should I have a chance to revisit this, that would be one of the areas I'd like to fix up.

He magically looses his limp though when he runs towards Benji, maybe add the smallest of pauses on his bad leg as he runs.

Yeah, he does. Actually that whole run sucks (as it became clear when I shot it using a better camera last week) so it needs to be redone anyway. Though you could attribute it to "WHEN VIKTOR MEANS BUSINESS HE IGNORES HIS STIFFNESS" but that's a bit of a copout.

The random character is a little "stale" for lack of a better word. But only at the beginning. He just pops in and then stands there for a bit... meh, what do i know...

I tried once, but they rejected me on the grounds that all my animation work was pencil tests and nothing "finished." Whatever, s'not important.
And thankyew much! I was pleasantly suprised by how well it plays, and the changes I've been making will hopefully only make it more worthwhile!
