She's very pretty. I haven't seen Starfire's new outfit though.. is it in a comic?

Well, she's a stab against Starfire's New52 look, so my job here is done.

While I know Starfire's personanility changed a lot in the New 52, I don't think her look changed that much. She has always been striperific.

New52 is supposed to be more accessible than the previous DCU to try to attract more readers. Put the beloved childhood heroine of many people in a set of pasties and a thong (not to mention the aforementioned personality change) to try to accomplish this?

I'm not saying I don't agree with you, I'm just saying Starfire has been striperific since the 80s. I disagree with changing her personality, but she was never the same character in the comics as she was in the cartoon. It's not a "new" costume. It's her usual costume. It's the costume she was wearing the month before New 52.
Don't get me wrong, I got 100% pissed off with the first issue of Red Hood & the Outlaws. However, once a friend convinced me to read a bit further, it was even noted in universe how weird she was behaving and that it was all an act. Still wish they hadn't done that, but...
Well, anyway, this is her profile from Titans Tower: [link]
The cartoon covered some skin. They decided to keep the classic costume in New 52. Hell, your art is more striperific than her 52 costume!

I'm familiar with the sling bikini Starfire used to wear(they took a jab at that in the cartoon, too), pasties and a thong are a bit of a step past that. It's still the idea that New52 is supposed to be more accessible to a new audience, yet has Starfire be more stripperific than ever that bugs people. I think there's a reason that DC Nation and Batman TB&TB are on TV.

That just means Red Hood & the Outlaws is not a book aimed at kids while DC Nation is a block aimed at kids.
Well, that's enough arguing anyway, I don't even disagree with you, I just mean that New 52 does not have a new look, it's just her usual costume.
