Weell...my initial intention was to draw the current "team" at Karasumori...I got it narrowed down to Yoshi, Tokine, Souji, Sen, Shuu, and possibly..er *blanks on name*. And, I started out drawing Souji...and he took up too much room XD adding Sen in next to him, the rest of the room was eaten up XD so I just shoved Yoshi in the background to finish it off, since these three are my current faves in Kekkaishi.I suppose this is sorta SPOILER but it's just cause I haven't found any scanlations up to the chapter that Souji comes in, lol. I've been reading it lately in the SS though, all because of Souji
He needs more love! He's like Gen^3, ahahha~!(Done in B/w since I have no color refs for Souji)

On a side note....Have you watched the Kekkaishi anime yet? There are 52 eps & they changed the story a little. But it is still good. We got some Gen love in it!

When I watched the anime with my friend ~kco-komiko , I swear they could hear her crying all the way in Arkansas (we are from near Chicago)! But, yeah, I've seen the whole anime..in fact, I caught an episode in Japan, and ended up watching the 4 episodes that had been sitting on my labtop for like ever. So, then I ended up buying the first 3 volumes of the manga to read on the plane ride home...I've gotten up to volume 6 since then (need to get more, but kinda broke right now, lol).
Souji is sorta like Gen's replacement in my opinion...he's a lot more stoic, and not part of Yagyou (though part of Urakai), and he stays with Yoshimori, lol (supposed to stay with Tokine, but due to some past issues and Yoshi's paranoid nature at this point in time, he takes Souji with him). But, like I said, no one really knows who he is cause even in the online scanlations, he hasn't been introduced yet. I think they might be getting close to when he comes in incognito...but not full figure, lol.
The first Kekkaishi pic I did had Gen, Yoshi, Tokine, and Madarao and Hakubi in it. I really adore the art style for Kekkaishi, too XD (love the noses with the marks! ie, the rounder noises)
