He really does look great like this. I have a peculiar urge to reacquaint him with the fleshling concept of hugs, but I'm a bit squeamish about beings trying to possess me.

Very dapper indeed, even going so far as to turn his sword part into the umbrella/parasol (I assume, since I can see the orange orb under his hand).

I love it how you made a person grinning in such a way so sympathetic. I read Darken in a day and the moment he nagged the body, he jumped into the brawl of who's-on-top-of-Sul'Zala's-favourite-bishounen-list-of-Darken (no hard quess who the other two are). I adore him. And the style fits Shard per-fect-ly ^_^ *snuggles away with him*

I didn't actually plan for Shard to steal this body, but the idea popped into my head and I'm so very glad it did, he's like infinity more fun to write and draw now, plus I will generally take any excuse to draw another drow running about!
I might start drawing him in this coat in the comic too, he needs a better look..

I wonder what he is grinning about... Maybe that's his inner grin over the lots of fangirls he now has and now that he has a body... I better not continue that line of thought here... But I do think that he appreciates hugs outside of combat situation, doesn't he?
About the day... Well, I was bored, no drive to do anything else, holidays and the Tab open with the first page, linked from TVTropes. That's all it takes for me. But it needs to be good for me to pull throuh^^
Heh, I can imagine that it's fun drawing him in that body, he can mess up so much more. And he can drive others crazy much better now. I mean, look at that grin, he must be up to somthing... xD

Ah yes, gotta say Shard's become my favorite character in Darken behind Komiyan and Gort
I really, REALLY like this picture, mainly because it shows that Shard can be dapper, well dressed, and cunning.
He can be the accomplice of an accomplie or a villain waiting to strike, he's awesome all the same
And yes, it seems elves look really cool in long coats

even before he got a body I liked him, I always like accomplices, it's why Komiyan and Blackshard are my favorite characters (I think it's because I'M the type to be an evil villain's accomplice xP)
