Description Done in C4D, rendered in Indigo.

Really enjoyed Machinarium when it came out on PC, and now excited to play it again on mobile.
So here's a small tribute.

Would have loved to detail it more, but this took over 2 hours already..

That's a really lovely render - nice DOF, warm sunlight, great looking textures... Well done

Thank you a lot! The textures were a lot of fun to do actually! Although I still regret I didn't add more specularity, because of the rust they almost look like clay.

I quite like the softer effect of the textures as you have them - I think it suits the image, especially with the warm light.

I know what you mean though - even very worn metal still retains quite a bit of specular highlight.

Did you change the illumination model from Phong? When I'm trying to get a painted metal hull on my ships I find that generally the best result is to stay with Phong, change the specular colour layer to 'Add' and create a Specular layer using 'plastic', high width and low height....

.... but you can spend forever with those settings!

Anyway - cool image!

Yep it's Phong, I just did too much rust and not enough specularity on there.

No drama hehe, these are daily diary render projects, so pretty much none of them is refined/finished. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Here in the Netherlands the Analog signal has been discontinued , so no more signal to catch for the antennas ..

Same here in Germany, guess there are still dozens of poor countries which are happy to have any kind of antennas

Thank you man o/

I'd love to see point & click adventures with 2d cams but 3d models!
Would need a lot more detail though.
