Although one sided,it's still an interesting concept cosidering how the two beasts have alot in common.Both are driven by sheer rage and the will to survive,both are near invincible with failed attempts at being killed,both cause complete destruction(godzilla on an obviously larger scale),and both have earned enmity from different sources.Godzilla's certainly had his share of Ahabs over the years.

Thanks...I want to write up an draw a version of that. It's something I don't think anybody's really touched on. It's not like Poison Ivy defending plants--she's human--or Tarzan protecting the Apes. He's human. Let's set up some mouse traps and have Mighty mouse get pissed off and come after us. That's about right.

I never thought of Moby Dick as evil...he seemed to be acting in self-defense and or / generally being pissed off. Godzilla's more like a force of nature..but then..he does seem to really enjoy being destructive. Hmm.

That's what I think. What did Moby Dick do anyway? He destroyed a few ships I think, but that's not really bad. We could do without a few ships. And as for godzilla...I don't really know about him. I think he might've been trying to play. XD

A long time ago, when I was really into a role-playing universe, I came up with this idea of a whale that had been effected by this Meteor that had crashed into the ocean. My theory was; why do only humans get super-powers? So this Whale could fly, was invulnerable nad could fire an undulation blast out of its mouth. It began sinking whaling ships left and right. So the supers had a problem. Shopuld they try and stop this super-whale who was defending it's own race? Did they even have the right? It was an interesting set up.

Very interesting. The only way to make it work is to allow the whale to communicate with the superheros. In the end, the only way for peace would be for humans to back off. But then there is question of should any creature be hunted or domesticated for food or work? Does intelligence in one animal make an entire species off limits? If the creature could be a go-between, would we then have to redefine what sentient means?
