Acrylic on canvas, 16X20 inches.I've been working on this on and off since May. It's not finished per se, but it's finished enough for the time being. There are other things nagging me to be done, and I'm ready to move on. So do excuse the dribs and drabs that are a bit incomplete.
God Bless the frozen waves of Beechy Island, and the aurora that insists on flashing like a string of Christmas lights in marquee mode...

First off Merry Christmas, but secondly and more importantly I love this piece. It's been a while since I've commented on anything, usually because my DevWatch is so bloated it takes something to really pop out to make me want to comment and my word this did.
The little things in this, as has already been mentioned, really portray the message you're conveying with wonderful subtlety and it seems each time I look the more I see.

This got me to thinking of what a real live Christmas parade would look like if you designed all the floats and big balloons and dressed the bands..now THAT would be a sight! Amazing painting..now back to playing with my new Christmas toys. Mark
