the bareness of soul -- spiritual, temporal, base, pure, and defiled taken by your muse's pallet.

the acceptance portrayed at the moment the young would be exorcist is overwhelmed..so raw.

I'm looking at this and Im guessing the glaze technicque.

What colors did you use for the two peoples? Im trying to figure that out, some of it looks black and some of it a dark browm like burnt umber maybe.

lol at tr1cky
I’m more interested in the chained devil like man. Seemingly relinquish her… after a quite some battle I’m sure.
The preachers wife / exorcists is wearing pink nail polish !!! I bet they’ll all be enjoying a cup-a tea and assorted biscuits in about 15minutes on the front porch

ps. the black haired girl's nose is a little wrong but there much more to this then that which excuses it

okay--i just tried to comment on this, but apparently one of the forces did not like what i had to say...so perhaps, i shall try again and ask all the gods that be to bless this comment before i send it

this piece is stunning. but, what i really liked about this is how similar you portray good and evil...such a fine line between the two worlds...i see the background of both, similar in dress--the royal colors spread across the backdrop as if descending from the same source (did i just say descend? perhaps that was a little slip..) . i love how the child, the one being exorcised is at the mercy of both, and it is here that i found myself in that child. there are countless moments where i feel at the mercy of two worlds in collision with one another-and yet the one cannot exist without the other. and i, in the middle must behave as a good little pawn and move accordingly...now, my perspectives are beginning to change a bit, but this piece really provoked some thought into belief systems that were once in tact, and are now..being challenged.

your artwork is tremendous. it is beautiful, and i am grateful that you are so giving to others...

thank you. for sharing your visions.

this picture is competely astounding to me, it stands out. how big are you working? the detail in the background really amazes me, the color and how it contrasts with the drab figures, and the lighting!! i can't describe it. i am in love with this piece. that girl is creeping me out, with her painted nails and colorless hands. oh, and her smile, like she REALLY likes what she is doing, WAY too much. (seems to me like she is the one that needs exorcising!)

keep it up. i enjoy the way you paint.

Your art seems to me like the pictures you'd see in a pamphlet from a catholic church- they have a squeeky clean quality to them... but then they're twisted around in a morbid way... They posess the vision of a child "falling from grace". I admire your work immensely.

The demon holding the guy gives the image a lot more meaning than if he wasn't there. I love the detail put into this work.

Such a peaceful face -- but then I notice the pressure of the finger in the cheek, and the way the crucifix is poised, weapon-like, at such a vulnerable spot.

It unnerved me, then.

the peaceful serenity of the exorcist twinnned with the black and darkness of the demon holding the victim, i love this contrast it's just so effective and as a whole somewhat unsettling... in a good way though... any story behind the flowers in the back? other than contrasting beauty, with the unwholesome scene in the foreground...? yet again i love the piece keep it up!! x

hmm it looks very good to me, i don't think of any reason why you should retouch it. it's a very intriguing peace. I find it curious that the exorcist looks so peaceful and serene in the face of such terror. Her expression is beautiful. I like the detail of the demon in chains too.

Your work is fantastic, keep it up

interesting work. quite unusual that beautiful women do exorcisms, at least in Christianity I love the high contrast in this work. the bright parts are really well chosen. the face of the exorcist his beautifully done and her expression is really authentic. an intersting part of this work is that a demon or were-creature is helping in the exorcism process buy holding the obsessed person probably after being forced to do this by the power of the exorcist (chains).

The only reason I have only given one of your deviations a favorite is because with the judgment I would be giving all of yours a favorite.

always such great details and imagery. The fellow holding her is intriguing...
I love the look on the exorcists face, slef confident and calm, as it should be if one is powered by faith
