Beautiful and horrific biology. A goddess freak like the girl in india with four legs. I absolutely love it. Instead of ostracizing them, Let's make our freaks gods. Their special gifts point to the sacred truth of our nature as genes.

gorgeously rendered flesh, especially the look of slipperiness on the parts of her that are a darker shade of pink/red. and also that wall on the right makes the composition more interesting~~

This is one of the paintings in which I see your pencil-art. I always felt curiosity to see how you could combine your styles. And the results are, of course, smashing. A true work of amazing art. Favorite.

I think I remember it from your drawings here in Deviantart, am I wrong? (You don't need to answer, i was just wondering...). Thanks for the prompt reply, Dan!

You remind me of john jude palencar. Not in style or anything like that. But you've straight up mastered bringing the beauty of fantasy, that's somehow logical, together with the quality and techniques of the highest level of art. o.O Your work always has this original quality that leaves me stunned. And to top it off, you're always willing to talk about your work... and you do it well. O.o

Such an eerie creature...
I love mythology, especially nautical mythology!
It's beautiful and hideous at the same time. Fantastic mixture. Love it.

This is different from you usual work, but at the same time, it is so "you"..... For some reason my monitor does not do your pictures/scans justice. I can only imagine how rich this is in person.
A tail-light fin shaped headstone that glowed in the dark would definately bring a little light or humor to a cemetary......but you are eons away from that path!!!

I love just as much as looking closely at these online versions of your paintings to read about the feelings and music and colors, it's really fun. Thank you for sharing.

What a wonderful interpretation. I especially like how realistic her skin has been painted.

It's very beautiful, but kinda sad.
It just puts off a hurt feeling(atleast to me). Maybe it's the raw feeling of the color choice.
I love the composition though.....
