The Ichigo in this version of chapter 2 was so much better than the first, because it proves Ichigo is more than a muscly brute, but is actually a smart person and is rightfully cautious about Ulquiorra.

I thought Ichigo would just accept what Orihime said, in my opinion. Or is he just remembering how quickly he got killed and how much destruction Ulquiorra's powers caused in their battle? Sorry, I'm spamming you with comments

Ichigo may enjoy fighting, but I don't think his head is filled with so much "derp" that he'd just take what Orihime says at face value and skip off into the sunset. He's right to be cautious...he's trusting Orihime and Ishida's judgment...but that doesn't mean he'll be able to sit still when Ulquiorra really wakes up

It's not a stupid question Ichigo's reaction has been something of a debacle since the very first time I drew the redux back in October. Truth be told, I really don't know what he'd do...I think this version is as close to 'correct' as it can be without Kubo doing it himself, though. Considering Ichigo has struggled with 'finishing off' his opponents throughout Hueco Mundo, I don't think he'd be immediately opposed to the idea of healing any of them...but Ichigo's also smart enough to know that, in his current condition, he's no match for Ulquiorra (and this is even before he realizes his mask won't work properly, like he does the first time he uses it against Yammy.)

I think the start of Ch3 will round Ichigo out, though. He's cautiously optimistic but Ulquiorra gives him reason enough to want to jump out of his skin *laughs*
