lol.. no, no.. I know perfectly what a Red Ranger is... and what color a Red Ranger should be
It's just that the color combination of red with an orange background seemed a bit off with the markers. And the white spaces left for the shine on thr Ranger's suit perhaps made it look too contrasting.

I haven't watched any of the newer Super Sentai shows since Timeranger or the Gaoranger/Super Sentai teamup movie because the newer ones suck in my opinion, unlike the older ones like Chojou Sentai Liveman (1988), Goseii Sentai Dairanger (1993), Hikari Sentai Maskman(1987), Choujin Sentai Jetman (1991), and the campy but enjoyable Himitsu Sentai Goranger (1975-1977). Nevertheless, I have to say that I am impressed with this drawing you did of MajiRed (the team leader of Majiranger). Nice job.

I had not idea there were so many Ranger shows..but after researching it..I found there was tons of stuff out there..

I'd like to see a serious big budget version...lot's of wire tricks would be cool..

There was one American-made one aimed at children in 1995, with CGI robots and a really bad script...if the words "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie" rings any bells. But no series exists on that scale that I know of. I still like the older shows with the right blend of cinematography and fight choreography, the cheap models, and the guys in the foam rubber suits.

I guess that's part of the charm ala Godzilla...but if they did it right it could be pretty cool..

I never saw the 1998 made-in-America piece of crap they slapped the Godzilla name on myself. And I didn't mind a few of the recent Ultraman projects to come out of the 1990s...EXCEPT FOR ULTRAMAN ZEARTH! I hated Ultraman Zearth with a vengeance.

I remember Ultraman from when I was a kid..but I have not seen any of the new stuff..
is it any good?

I'd recommend Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman Gaia. Haven't seen any of the 2000s stuff, though. Aside from that, my favourites will always be the original (which is available on DVD here in the States now), Ultra Seven, and Ultraman Ace. I also like the original Masked Rider series from 1971, and also V3, Amazon, and the movies Masked Rider Zo and Masked Rider J.

Ctrl+Z will save your life!

I like the markers. I can't color for beans with traditional tools.

indeed Cntrl-Z is my ace homey...Markers are fun..I usually do quikie comps with water color pencils...but 95% of my color work is done digital..so much easier..
