A lore piece, if you will. Lore about my RWBY crossover/alternate universe.
It's crossover that takes elements from RWBY and Seven Dealdy Sins, plus other good fantasy games, shows or stories.

Elemental lords. Powerful beings of pure elemental energy. Each controlling their own part of the Elemental Domains. This realm is from where mages summon elemental creatures and most skilled draw magical energy they use for their spells. Not many mortals have visited the Domains, as traveling there is difficult and Domains themselves, very dangerous. Only the most powerful mages and warlocks can make the trip and survive. Those who have succeeded in their travels, may have been able to gain some secrets of the Domains to their own uses. One of these few was a mage named Seano.
Seano was respected mage in University of Ilmarine and known for his skills in many advanced arts. Seano was also known for his courage to test the limits of his magic. Seano was now making his preparations to reach the Elemental Domains. Seano had placed magical enhancer onto his heart and as he was drawing the magical circle, he cast Eagle Eye spell he had modified for his purposes. As he had read of those who had succeeded before him, each of them had lost something on their travels. He planned to be the first to come back, without losing a thing of himself. Soon circle was ready and Seano took his staff and began channeling his mana through it into the circle. He felt strong wind starting to blow around him. His legs felt heavy and weak at the same time and only by leaning to his staff he didn't all. He then felt enormous heat, but kept on channeling his mana. Then he heard loud THOOM and opened his eyes. He was speechless. Before him were the Elemental Lords themselves. Lords of Water, Ice, Air, Storm, Light, Lightning, Fire, Magma, Earth, Nature, Dark and Magic. Seano was overwhelmed by the sight of these enormous magical beings. Descriptions in books could not make justice for them. His eyes were locked onto lord of Magic, who stood in the middle, wrapped onto his red cape. Other lords were surrounding him, and clearly weren't happy for whatever reason. Seano was quiet and observed, allowing his preparations gather him what he wanted. Elemental lords seemed to be ready to attack Lord of Magic, who without muttering a single word, spread his arms, revealing something that Seano could only describe as the void. What followed was a powerful flash of light, roaring, and the realm began to shake. But just as quickly it had started, it was over. Seano then realized he had returned to his workshop. His legs finally gave in and he fell to the ground, but not feeling pain. He fell unconscious for who knows how long before his colleagues found him.

Elemental Lords rarely get in touch with mortals of any kind, but have sent their servants to the world if they have felt it necessary. No-one knows their true names or where they originate from, but it is believed that they were born among the first beings when the world was created.
