After countless trials and training hours, Yang finally had done it. She focused her magic on tip of her finger, and summoned a flaming orb. She smirked and raised her hand as it grew and grew. Then the words came from her mouth. “Cruel Sun”. Technique that had been used by legendary Sin of Pride, Escanor. Just few were able to mimic this attack as it was of divine origin, and lesser warriors had perished at their attempts. But Yang was not a lesser warrior. Not anymore. After the fall of Beacon, she had broken through her limits and went far beyond. She would burn the Horsemen and lighten up the world with her sunlight. She would protect her friends, her family, and the empire. Her friends watched amazed by her achievement and clapped. They had to stay further away so they wouldn’t burn.

Despite what RoosterTeeth chose to do with her in canon she still is my favorite girl from RWBY. After all, had I not watched Death Battle and her fight with Tifa from Final Fantasy, I'd propably never have gotten into RWBY. I guess I will always look Yang from early volumes of the series when I want to see my favorite girl at her best.
