Description          'Dear God, there's more of them,'  Fang thought,  holding his blade tightly in hand.  No one believed him that he could see them and now look at them all.  Everyone that Fang knew was gone, all had been turned into those ghastly beasts of the Underworld.

                 Into devils.

Fang tried to defend the remaining angels left,  hoping they would be able to return to Heaven yet he shamefully failed.  So he ran,   fearing for his life.  He had many close calls with the devils;  growing more frequent in the past month and each time he would slay them,  keeping his word to God true.     As Fang ran deeper and deeper into the forest he remembered the day he was given the gift of God's sight;  the ability to see the angels on Earth.

They were beautiful creatures.  It intrigued Fang when they would watch over the humans--- or wingless angels, as God explained--- and save a tormented soul from becoming a devil.  At times they would ask for his help.  When the fight was over,  Fang was afraid that what he had done was murder.  He paused behind a tree to catch his breath,  a faint smile etched on his face.   How foolish to think such a thing,  even then.   Fang was chosen out of both Heaven and Earth to be blessed with the sight. . . . . but all of his joy would die.  He found out the hard way that angels weren't the only ones who were sweet talkers.    A familiar bitter taste in the back of his mouth took his mind back to the day when the love of his life,  Battle,  was taken away and made into a devil.  She had been tempted by their lies of safety and a better life.   No matter how many times he warned her,  she would always return to them,  each time for longer periods that the next.

                       Then she never came back.

Fang hunted for his love for days,  slaying so many devils the angels themselves feared him.  Finally,  he found her with that thieving beast and realized he was too late.    God gave him orders and he had to keep his word.  With a heavy heart,  he slayed his beloved Battle.      Fang pressed himself against the tree as the loud sound of the devils wings echoed through the quiet forest.  He could hear a distant barking and howling,  his heart sinking.   They had brought the Hounds of Hell.  Fang ran into them once;  not long ago and narrowly escaped with his life. They had nearly torn him to shreds.  In his current condition Fang feared this would be the end.  He thought it through and guessed he would last anothr ten minutes,  give or take.    Before he could find a better hiding spot a blinding light from above shone on him.  A deep voice rang through his head.

"We have you surrounded.  Drop your weapon and put your hands on your head."  Fang saw in the corners of his eyes shadows quickly circling him.  He raised his blade,  ready to slay the devils when his body tensed and he screamed in pain.  He tensed up, the sensation of electricity coursing through every cell in his body.  Everything was getting dark, shadows clouding his vision.   He let the blade slip out of his hand as he fell on the ground.  He knew he had been defeated.    Then all went black.

"Suspect has been caught,"  the police officer said in the radio, holding his taser in his hand and kicking the boys lead pipe away from him.     They finally caught him.  'Fang'.  The name was popular across the country.  After all it's not everyday you deal with a homicidal teenager.  First it was his girlfriend then anyone.  It almost seemed to be random.

Now isn't that a scary thought?

Across the country a little girl sat by her dead parents, holding a bloody knife in hand and crying.  She knows what she did was wrong,  but it was for a good reason.  She had to follow the orders.

She had to slay the devils.

She had to save the angels.

She was chosen to have 'the sight'.

                She was chosen.

                God even told her so.
