Bah, artist's alley is full XP Ah well, no worries I'll just try to get high quality prints of some of my art to sell in the art show then.... and I have one original piece I want to go too. *nodnod* Woo that means I'll get to actually wander around the con and have fun! (At Anime Mid-Atlantic I was at an artists table and contently sat there the whole time drawing commissions and shiz)

xD I have no clue what hotel we'll be at since I didn't make those arrangements (I go with a big group of friends). I think it might be the one across the street, though. Yeah, I need to make a conbadge too ;_; Eeee SO much to do in this last month of preparation!

Not too bad, actually ^^ Still don't know how I should go about making the hoofie shoes (I have plastic canvas sheets and black vinyl and stuff, so I have the materials, just not the knowledge of how to effectively piece it together We'll see). So All I have to do now is
1) Make the hoofies
2) Finish my current glove (and possibly remake the first one -- it's a bit raggedy and craptacular)
3) finish the upper part of the right arm piece
4) Effectively attach the ears to a headband

So not much else! I got the big thing out of the way first (pants) and the little things are just extra. T_T Woo I'll be labeled a Furry quickly. The only like.. Furry at the anime convention I'm expecting to get people to shout at me to "Go back to Anthrocon" or something. It's not a fursuit, I swear it XD

lol, nah, 'cause everbody knows that furries are better in fights than otaku on the basis that furries dont shout out " SUPER MEGA BUBBLE HEART APOC EXPLOSION DOOM RAY!!" or whatever before dooing their special move As far as the hoofies go, hast thou considered foam, sculpey or paperclay?? I mean, I'm pretty sure you can just hot glue the vinyl (if you dont have a hot glue gun, get one ^^ they make stuff so easy that they are banned from art school projects ) but hey, duct tape and spray paint work too ^^

I probably will just bring them into my independent art study class to work on~ We've got hot glue in my art class, so life's good. I'll ask my teacher if she knows a good way to go about it :B And I tried to look for foam, but I couldn't find anywhere with a chunk big/thick enough and clay is expensive compared to plastic canvas XD

heh, true enough The foam I was thinking about was the pink insulation foam available at hardware stores. We use it for all sorts of stuff at Games Workshop. But, if ya got hot glue, then I'd say you're fine ^^

That stuff might actually be easier... could carve the shape out to make it what I want and I have a spray adhesive for the fabric then so it'd be smooth... Hmm... might just have to go to Lowe's x3
