I know that I've talked about this topic twice already not counting going to other people's journals and feeds, but I just felt the need to draw.

In case you haven't heard from Nintendo's lackluster E3 the other day, it has been confirmed that Daisy has been confirmed to be in the new Smash game for the Switch. Named Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Which I can't wait to get my hands on in December.

Now, it's also worth noting that allll the other Smashers from past entries will return. Which is smart so fans can stop whining about who will be in and who won't. On the topic of Daisy, I...don't really care that she got the cut. Y'all know, or should know, how I feel about Mario characters that aren't DK and his crew, Rosalina, Pauline, or King Boo. Why should I be excited about someone I'm indifferent about? Also that makes, what, twelve Mario characters?! Good lord. Was it really too much to at least make her a skin for Peach like Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings and Olimar and Alph? Instead of mimic Peach's moveset?

If you ask me, I personally would've preferred if people like King Boo, Marx, Dark Meta Knight, K. Rool, and Galacta Knight made it in. Mainly because they would have such an interesting moveset. Especially Marx and King Boo, who I were rooting for the most. No, I'm not mad or upset or anything, just....a bit disappointed. You like Daisy? Good for you, I don't care.

And folks, the reason I'm not flipping my shit and going off right now is because since the game's release is so far away, I'm still hoping and keeping an optimistic mind about my wish list. Hell, for all we know, newcomers could appear in a Direct or something. Ergo, I'll reserve judgment. However, if not one of them AREN'T in by then or any other Kirby rep...well, let's just say I found my new punching bag.
