Description
This is Prisley, a female German Shepherd. She stayed in the shelter for a few weeks and then got adopted by a young family who is very happy with her. I believe she came to us because of her behavior problems. Her owner couldn't handle her enthusiasm and high spirits.Prisley was only 9 months old when that happened. A notorious age for young dogs, I can understand people can get frustrated. But its a normal process and you just have to go through it. You don't kick out your 16 year old just because he's being a typical annoying adolescent. And in dogs the period lasts a lot shorter!

Better they give the dog up then turn into neglectful owners. They were people who didn't research the dog breed very well before making a purchase. At least she's in a good place now! She is a cutie.

Haha, precies. Hou maar in gedachten dat het echt wel weer goed komt. Die van mij is nu 3 en ik kan hem nog steeds wel eens achter het behang plakken. Maar gelukkig niet meer continu.

They are one of my favorite types of dogs. I just adopted one out of the shelter around our house that is a saddle maked. He's about a year and a half

You're right though, better they leave their dogs at the shelter than neglect them or put them on the streets. And it worked out great for this girl.
