A female Mastino Napoletano.One of the new arrivals at the shelter, came in as a stray. A very sweet girl, sometimes even a bit timid. Has to get to know you. She's 7 years old which is quite an age for such a large dog. Such a shame her owner hasnt collected her and decided to not search for her. And so we will do our best to find her a good new home.

Wow! How often do you get Neopolitan Mastiffs into the shelter? Almost never, right? lol I'm sure she'll fly out of there! Such a beautiful girl! The composition and DOF are fantastic! Great job with this portrait! Where do you do your shelter shots?

No, this is the first time we've had a real one. A few years back we had a Neo mixed breed. Very rare to have one, also because you hardly see them in Holland.
I took the photos in an office at the shelter: white wall, light floor, bounced the flash of the ceiling. A little bit of editing in Photoshop and voila.
