And I agree with what you say about train tracks being romantic...there is a lot of talking about train tracks like that in one of my fav books, "The Zahir"...it's spiffy

By the way, is this a siding that cuts off of the Amtrak Surfliner route? I rode that train last summer and this setting and track looks incredibly familiar.

It might be, I'm not sure. It's off highway 1 near Santa Cruz. Does that match the one you're talking about? I do want to find out, because it'd be fun to ride.

I meen I only saw it for a few seconds from the train as the train passed by but it looks familiar.
The ride is a really awesome and beautiful ride! Especially with a famous Pacific Sunset over the ocean!
