Paint date: 20050905Self portrait (kind of) in waiting for the reunite of seasons.
It's been a long while, haven't sketched nor painted for more than 2 months due to busy schedule and been in overseas.
How's everyone? I hope you're all doing fine.
Sorry for not able to attend inbox and reply for so long, will try to catch up if possible.

I love the colors you have in your paintings.
Here, you have the warm in the center... surrounding you, representing the warmer seasons, in a way, yet also around THAT you have those blues which brings a colder feeling. Like you said, "waiting for the reunite of seasons"... You can see both of those separate feelings around you here.
I also like how you're sort of blending in with the background, not so clearly defined. It's almost as if YOU are uniting with the seasons, just as they are uniting with each other. Very cool.

...it's been so long! I missed thie colours and the inky textures. Warm and lovely. I would say it's not so right for someone coming back after a long time, more like someone waiting. And I think you say so too.

Isogashii ne? Atashi mo. ichimatsu ni yonkai hataraite, ichimatsu ni nikai gakkou e ikimasu. Atashi wa ichimatsu ni ikkai (or ichikai?) hima dake arimasu. =/ Tokidoki tsukarimashita. x_X

Everytime I don't paint or draw for some time my pictures become a bit different as well as my stile. I think there's something like that with you also. And I can say this picture is even better than what I saw before. Well done
