Description
With a suggestion from Hideo Masu to Motoo Fujiwara "let's change rock history", Bump of Chicken's formed in 1994. They're all 15 back then. Motoo Fujiwara saved his lunch money to buy a guitar and had to hide it in Hiroaki Masukawa's house for fear of parents finding out. They often rehearsed at Yoshifumi Naoi's garage.Drawn/painted from information/imagination, from left to right: Yoshifumi Naoi, Hideo Masu, Motoo Fujiwara, and Hiroaki Masukawa; 15, all in traditional middle-school uniform.

Didn't know he had to hide it. Aw... They look so great!! I'm sorry you have a million things I haven't been able to look at, but life here has been a bit more than insane lately. 
I love how Fujiwara-san looks almost glowing with the shines and the coloring... It's such a neat feeling to this one, much liks that memory/look back in time kind of representation. Which fits, since it IS.

Yaaayyy You drew it!!!! They look so young and innocent~~ *glomps them all* Do you know if Fujikun bought the guitar before he learnt how to play first @_@? Something I've been wondering for a while since ther's no way he could've learnt if he didn't have somethign to practice on.
Fujikun and I are similar on the point of saving lunch money to buy something, except I bought a Gundam instead of a guitar...... *sweat* And guitars back in those days must've been expansive too, poor him...
I would really die for a picture of them in their uniforms....... *nosebleed* <-- uniform obsessed <-- corrupted...

I don't know what brand of guitar he first played though, Fujikun seems really talented self-learning guitar, and I think he thought Masukawa how to play guitar if I read correctly.. <- starts to imagine all the cute scenes ooooooooh..
Yeah, that's why Fujikun's so skinny, he didn't eat and bought a guitar instead!

Yeah, 15's young, but I know there are some musicians have classical music training since they're toddlers and start their music career early. But BOC (the band whom I draw all the time lol) didn't have classical music training and they're basically self-taught by also growing up listening to music. and self-learning musical instruments when they're mid-teens and being successful is awesome (talented indeed)
Yeah. He's incredibly thin, he still is lol. Maybe he should have left a bit more $ for buying food lol.
