This show needs moar lurveee <333333333333 I've watched this a lot of times already and I never get tired of it. The ending is just so... I want more FAKIRUU QAQ

Princess Tutu was impressive in that it had realistic and not an overly romanticized ending.
It's not often you get such story telling. I did kind of hope to get some romance between Fakir and Ahiru, but I actually won't have the story end in any other way. ^^

can someone please remind me again what is the difference between the manga version of princess tutu and the anime version? i watched one of the versions on youtube where mytho chooses rue at the end and ahiru turns back into a duck. i want to re-watch it but i can't remember which is which. (i heard that in the other version that mytho couldn't decide between rue and ahiru so they fight forever and the story never ends.)

The one where Mytho chose Rue and Ahiru turns back into a duck is the anime version. In the anime version, it is also hinted that Fakir and Ahiru have already fallen for each other.
In the Manga version, the ending was open ended where Mytho still haven't chose between Rue and Ahiru. There's also no hint about FakirxAhiru pairing.
Personally, I really prefer the anime version than the manga version. (because I'm a big Fakiru fan

thank you! i watched the anime version. at first i wanted mytho to choose ahiru, but i really loved ahiru and fakia! i only wish she didnt have to change back into a duck. or at least it ends with fakia successfully writing a story to change her back
