That's a little short scene i've planned after the reading of the last Warcraft book "Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects".
While i've drawn Alexstrasza and Ysera in ther best and new look while our cute Kalecgos ... well...
I love him in all the books and manga series x3 (but he should start think a bit more at Tirygosa rather then letting an human paladine hug her ; ) )

If I could draw... anything... my parody would say something like.
"Okay, I'm an aspect now, what do I"
"Okay, time to give up all your Titan's Gift powers and use them to destroy Deathwing."
"What? But it's been, like, three days!"
"And?"

Right XD not being a player of Wow i first read that book and then discovered what happened later v.v But (i was involved in difficult discussion.) i don't think they have lost ALL their powers ... long to explain.
1)Blizzard "forced" the dialogue to be similar at the one at the end of Warcraft3 (becuase they are finishing the "cool" stuff after some notorius deaths as Arthas and Illidan <.<)
2)Clear that they've lost the immortality, but... less clear if they have lost everything everything of their powers. There is a clear continuity error here.. because Aspects were done to be "guardians" of the elements of the world AND of the world. Destroying Deathwing it's not different to destroy Malygos (both corrupted ones): their official missions wasn't it. It's keep guarding the world mainly against Sargeras and the Old Gods (Titan probably knew about they survival).
3)Another point it's that without Aspects.. some elements of the world will be ungovernable (the Time first of all.. the main mission of Nozdormu was to keep it normal).
4)Probably Blizzard said "OK, lots of stuff about dragons, sort of "Deus ex machina", no stop it and do some funny fluffy Pandaren"
5)We could imagine how.. (i've read this theory online) the Aspects realized how THEY were the main targets of the Old Aspects for millennia (and not the mortals) with 2corrupted/killed, the attack in the Ysera's realm , the Infinite dragons against Nozdormu and what happened to Alexstrasza in the book i've read. So they probably said "If we became less strong, less dangerous for the Old Gods, they will stop to corrupt us and use us."

Not all their powers, no, they're still gigantic dragons. But that's it, they're just strong dragons. Ultraxion, before we killed him that is, could have wiped the floor with the aspects as they are now.
