2016: amazing year for "berserk" fans. the new manga will finally be out in just a few days after three f. years of waiting, miura confirmed that it'll be a monthly release again, there's a new anime series out (which i already truly love but also quite hate for a couple of reasons) aaand there'll be a new game out later this year... (still own the dreamcast game and the ps2 game, especially love that one). you see, it's a good time for doin' a new berserk fan art - this one is called "the black swordsman", cause that's who he is. hope you like guts.

This gives you an idea what a live action Berserk adaptation could look like. But i don't count on that ever happening because you would need an enormous budget, talented actors willing to go all the way into crazy ville and a hard NC 17 rating.

happen i guess... and if, it'll be either a awkward japanese
live action with low budget cgi and bad wigs, or a white-washed
"hollywood" big budget fail-cast disaster...
we should be happy we got the 90's anime (that music... <3)
and the (imho) very good studio 4°C movies. the two complete
cgi seasons are an insult, nothing more, nothing less.

This is the perfect interception between an imaginary real gatsu and the manga's gatsu.. I keep coming back to this art, dont know exactly why.. I'm really glad you did it. Amazing job, congrats!
