now that i actually had some spare time to get back to personal projects i finally finished the second portrait of my little berserk black and white (no pun intended) series.
this one is called "The White Hawk"... i'd like to do one more. guess who it'll be.

ok, I really cannot make it. I am truly staring at it since I saw it a week ago, it's so incredible realistic. That's the exact way I'd imagined him with a realistic face. The same for Guts, but this one is so crazy beautiful...! Instead as Casca which I've imagined with different eyes, maybe less big...anyway, your work is amazing! <3

haha! thanks, glad to hear that - seriously! griffith was the hardest
of the three. it took me so much attempts to get his eyes like i imagined
them and the overall feel of a mixture between man and women, without
beeing too much on one side or the other. guts was the first one and took
also very long, because i was figuring out a style for these and wanted him
to be totally what i imagined him in rl too. casca was the easiest, since i
got a picture of her very clear in my head, the second casca i did (long hair),
took some time, because i had to make her equally to the first and the light
coming from puck made that even harder to achieve.

I completely agree.
It was a surprise for me when I found his Gutts draw.
I was expecting everyhing with this style because it needs to much time to reach this skill.
But I was wrong, kopfstoff have many styles and he is skilled equal in each of them.
But I love this one that he used for Berserk characters.

i was gonna critique it, saying that the white bits ruin it; but now i realise that those are feathers and that just adds so muck more to it...

yeah the "white bits" ended a bit rough i guess,
but i wanted to add the feathers and let them appear in motion
plus i did not want to makem too detailed, since they shouldn't
be that important for the viewer. glad you recognized them - and liked them
at the end. ^^
