Excuse the horrible picture quality please!My progress so far with my Halloween Town Larxene cosplay.
I've based her design on both her element and the fact that she has antennae and can be a bitch. >:3
The tutu is supposed to look like a rain cloud with lightning bolts coming out of it. If feel like I was pretty successful with that. The wings were there for funsies. A black angel wing and a skeletal bat one with fake spiderweb all over it. The lil cape was inspired by Sora's and I fucking love it so much, it's adorable. x3
The shirt and arm-warmers are supposed to make you think of a wasp or hornet.
I made the tutu, arm-warmer, and wings are all made from scratch.
The structure of the wings were inspired by the angel wings that were being sold at Anime Boston last year, I just modified the wing structure(it's bigger and a different shape.) and created the bat wing. They're made of black floral wire, black foam, and fake spider web.
There's only one arm-warmer so far because it was such a bitch to make and I'm dreading making the other one. Made from black and yellow spandex material.
The tutu was made the same way as my green and purple rave one. A little extra step was making the lightning bolts, bitches to sew. Made of black, gray, and sparkly yellow tulle.
The shirt is just a sliced up black wife-beater. Underneath is the same yellow spandex material I used on the arm-warmer, I made a tube top out of it and I'll be attaching it to the black shirt. The lil cape is made of left over Halloween fabric from my work. The top layer has lil bats on it. x3 Ahh I love that cape!
I've ripped up the fishnets and I'll be wearing my "Organization boots" which are really just the boots I wear all the time. xD
I'd love to know your thoughts! Any suggestions are appreciated.
I'm planning on making a lil mask like Sora's but I wanna do a lil chibi wasp with a evil smiley face. xD The wig is nowhere near finished, and if that doesn't get done...This cosplay might not debut until Anime Boston '11...But hopefully I wont have to resort to that!

xD Ah you should come find me when I'm cosplaying Zexion.(Which will probably be the entire weekend if this cosplay doesn't work out.) I'll have a Twister board, and I need to find some Demyxs to play with. >:3

Just looked at your gallery and I see your from the super duper amazingly amazing Org group! O: Saw you guys all over the place last year and was in awe every time. Awww, thank you so much! I really appreciate the compliment, and I think the rest of my friends would too. Unfortunately, I'm not the official Demyx for their group, but Larx and Xig are like my best friends, so I just end up being Demyx for the cons we go to. Their Demyx is often MIA. xD

We're meeting up in the south lobby where the tree is. The entrance to the Hynes pretty much, and from there we're deciding where to go based on what the weather is what's crowded or not. c: I hope you'll all be able to make it. xD It's even early for me, especially since I plan to be at the dance really late Friday night, I'll wanna sleep a little late Saturday morning. This is my first year with a wig so it takes me a little while to get ready. Hopefully I wont be late! xD

Aww thank you! You've given me some inspiration to attempt to finish it but as of right now I'm about 95% sure that it's not gonna be finished in time. >.< The wig has made zero progress since I've posted this, other than getting some extra wefts of hair to give it more volume. It remains widow'speakless and antennaless. >.< As of right now, it's really the widow's peak that's holding me back, but I really want it because there's nothing that bugs me more other than wigs with slicked back hair that have no widow's peak. It just looks so unnatural. D:
If it doesn't get finished, I'll be running around as Zexion all three days. Crossing my fingers hoping for a miracle, since I've put so much work into it! But ugghh I have so much school work and work work and it's just killing me. x.x
I'll keep and eye out for you though! Will you be going to the big KH photoshoot on Saturday?

We've styled it (mostly) without the widow's peak, and I think it looks fine. But we don't REALLY care about how it looks, as long as we had fun making it and trying new things (like those goddamn feelers! Ugh!). As long as YOU like it, then others will like it just as much, y'know?
I won't be, I wasn't aware there WAS a KH Photoshoot :c Maybe we can just take our own photos together? xD I'll be in three casual cosplays, so I doubt it'll be hard to pick me out of the crowd. I'll note you our outfit schedule so you know what to look for!

Yeah I know what you mean. Unfortunately for me, I want the widows peak, but that's not the whole reason I'm doing it, I also NEED the widows peak. The wig has the tendency to slip back a little, no matter how much I clip it in, and it exposes my natural widows peak, and my hair isn't exactly platinum blonde. xD So I need the wigs widows peak to cover it up. x.x
Aww that's too bad. :c I'll be sure to keep an eye out! Yeah totally note me the schedule, I wanna meet up with as many people as possible this year and get picture so if it'll make it easier to find you guys it's awesome. xD
Ahh you're doing wire for the antennae. That's my back up plan...We're trying to get them to stay up using extremely strong hair spray, I'm not sure how well it's going to work. xD

Haha, I totally get that. I have dark, dark brunette hair, and without a wig cap I'd be doomed trying to wear a Marluxia wig.
My lovely Larxene stuck in the wires without me, and I highly recommend it, that way you don't need to worry about them falling- but we also didn't use a ery strong hairspray.

THis is great. Love all of it. The tutu is my favorite part, but that cape is cute, and I really like the wings (especially the spider-weby one), and the shirt with matching arm warmers is something I'd expect to see in a store. (I'd buy them.)

Thanks! I wish the slices in the shirt and arm warmer(s) had come out better though. xD Some of em are all wonky and it makes the perfectionist portion of my brain itch. BUT ALAS, I have no motivation to try it again. x3
