Description So... much.... BLUE! Da ba dee.

Request for This is David (or Rockhound), who was genetically fiddled about with and was turned into a garg-beast mutate. He was injected with Bronx's DNA, hence the strong resemblance.

When I look at the finished picture, I can just imagine him growling like in the Gargoyles intro. Listen to this from 0:05 to 0:11 while looking at this youtu.be/OjA443qGvh8?t=5s I'm a bit unsure if the background engulfs the main image too much...

EDIT After a suggestion by I made the background a lot darker. It's not black, it's a very dark shade of blue. It does make it look a bit more mysterious. Thanks for that, Whimsy!

This is such a cool concept! I've always wondered what a garg-mutate would look like.
I love the pose, and the outfit is super cool.
I could just imagine him having to fiddle with Bronx's tiny tail tucked in his pants.

As far as the background color, I probably would've gone with a much lighter color, since the character is mostly dark-colored.
Having a very light color in the background (like maybe a faded sky blue) would make the character pop out more.
I'm not very good at picking background colors myself, so that's pretty much the best advice I can offer in that regard.
Otherwise, I think blue is a really good color choice.

And if you'll allow one more quick suggestion:
With images like these where it's generally just a character image, I like to save it as a .png instead of a .jpg
That way I can get away with not putting in any background at all, and there's no worries of whether or not the color I picked is alright.

According to D-Blue02, David doesn't actually have a tail. But now I can't get the thought of him wagging it if he did have one out of my mind

And thank you for the compliments and advice! D-Blue02 asked to have a navy blue background, but I did try to make it a bit lighter so David wouldn't be lost in it. I've got to try and remember that thing about PNGs...

Yeah, I was just thinking that since you were going for a dark tone, you could go even darker with the background.
Like maybe a midnight blue, so dark it's almost black.
