First time ever, I didnt want this painting to finish, maybe because the most enjoying part of a painting is detailing, refining the model, making it more realistic and through atmospheric effects and lighting, combining and nitting together the otherwise distict elements. And as you may guess the hardest part is throwing down the first stroke….The main, essence, idea behind this piece is as ever, the intimate, intensive and strong connection established and sustained between the rocky landscape, the locus, and the body, in this case a temporal techno, construct like a mecha-bird, reminds me of the golden İncan bird I used to watch in the cartoons. The body is sustained and anchored to the earth by gravity and tactile surfaces, preventing it from disengaging and plunging upwards into the clouds but also the very dusty red rocks, gravels form as the foundation from which the material body is formed. Through earth’s core, the lava, and through the fractures and cracks of the rocks, the intense emancipatory energy flows and ignites the body, freeing it from its earthly constraints…… only to reclaim and reproduce it later…..

yes maybe, its all for the sake of sense of depth. I need those clouds, fogs, fume to create it.

where is the beholder, restless, defender of keeps?
It seems there is a slight problem with the horizon line. There is clouds positioned below horizon line, right side of the disc like structure, or may be the whole composition is way too high on a valley.

and the upper part of canvas is needless. love to comment myself...right now also I am in Kas, the most beautiful sea there is for me, and I cant tell how the colors of the sky are so vivid and correct. (great job
Anyway I had first sketched this painting here on Kas, and finished or postponed the final stroke here as well. and I have at last started my new painting here.... but sadly İstanbul waits for me and winter is coming.....))

there is problem with coloring I think, the lack of blues is really bothering me, I will make it up very soon.)) ofcourse my laptop screen which is old shows desaturate colors also. that makes me color paranoid. especially with led technology.
so beware, the eye of the beholder.)
