Hay guys!This is all I got to show you for now.
There are so many flaws in this picture, but I finished it off with a terrible speed I even surprised myself there. : D
Something a little different, but don't worry, boys will never fall off from this gallery even if there are girls popping up once in a while. C:

i think in symbolizes that we are the only ones who can really trap ourselfs
just like a saying going

This one is so confusing to me, probably it's also the reason I like it so much because most of all it makes the viewer to really think about it. There seems to be a little problem with her throat and I really do hate myself for being so bad that I can't exactly point out what it is. Wait maybe it's that all the lines are correctly drawn but there's so much contrast in value(on the muscles that connect the head to the torso) that the overall round shape of it doesn't come through in shading. The thing I like most in here is the wing that is nailed to the wall. You used so few and bold brush strokes there that it just seems so right with so little. And now for the necessary symbolism interpretation; The hammer hanging from her neck makes it seem like she has limited her options by herself and thus caused great pain to herself. And that way she is only artificially "blind" to the freedom and happiness(sunlight) that is so close to her reach. The place she chooses to stay in is cushioned and safe but she knows that by taking chances she would be in a place that wouldn't feel like a prison. There's also the innocence (white) that she protects by her action but it's she's starting to wander about it's true value to her. (the stained and droopy look of her shirt)

A lot of times we artists get hung up on small details. Don't worry about it. You have to look at the picture holistically. I think the piece, while it's not dark or contrasty, still has a disturbing emotive effect. I think it's a really good piece. Sometimes our best pieces are the ones we do quickly.

the imprint of the nails are amazing, I love the little halos around them, and the sureal nature of the padded wall in the back ground is stunning. I think even with its flaws its remarkable.

Wow. This is slightly disturbing but I imagine that's kinda what you were going for. Still, in it's own way, it's gorgeous. I absolutely LOVE her hair!
