Description A mecha child, little boy who was ready to face the world behind stained glass.



This was a fun colouring session, and I feel really bored doing the 200,000 hit picture, so I needed a brake. ^w^
Learned something new, and still learned nothing, just slapped some colours onto the sketch and voilΓ‘, suddenly it was ready before I realized it. For some reason, I like this alot

Done entirely in Open Canvas ( the rames was done in photoshop xD )
Time taken..what I counted it took me 45 minutes atleast.

I really like this image. You did an awesome job with the drawing and coloring it and everything, so good job! I also think you did a good job with the black box you framed the image with. It's proffessional and clean, so good job
p.s i would love to see the hair in just a single almost-black shade of color. right now the patchy-ness of the hair is a bit distracting from that amazing eye.
p.p.s and also it seems he's missing his shoulders >.<
But, really, this is very well done *sorry if i post this twice*

This one has maybe the best colours from you so far *__* me likey again. The use of big round brush doesn't look that interesting but overall the colours have that soft creamy look to them. His eye is eyecatching too.

Wow....give me 45 minutes, and my page/window would probably still be blank. This painting is beautiful with its use of emotion....it's a cyborg, yet its portrait is brimming with emotion (somebody please hug him, my heart's breaking). It's a child, innocent and with an uncertain future, yet it's not human...the only thing we have to see that he's a cyborg and not human is the bar-code on his neck. Which seems to give him all the greater sense of anonymity because he's being mass-produced...like at a super-market. So while it's a portrait of the individual, it's really just another product on the assembly line.

You know I have yet to use Open Canvas but you keep producing such beautiful art from it with such a smooth balanced look that it feels like it was a painting and not a digital piece, I just keep on wanting to try it but I don't cause I can't stand how many windows it has x.X and a great deal about it actually pft -weird-

I love that you managed to cut off the top of his head and still make the piece very well centered and very artsy! I enjoyed the barcode ^_^!!! -Has been seeing those tattoos on people a lot lately.- It amused, and the right eye is VERY impressive to me O.o forty five minutes on top of that WLJFH LOL! Amazing, only thing is that the chest could have used just a little more definition using the colors in my opinion, and perhaps the background could have used a more SOLID affect. Then again it looks like the entirety of the drawing was done in a very smooth sensation to it so that might not have been what you were going for.
