Because for some reason, I ended up remembering Devon.Β He died after offering his diseased eye to Asmodaeus (the deemed "father figure" of Lucifer), lost his entire clan to a plague of monstrous Farce Dames, lost his terminally ill "grandmother" due to the consequences set by a certain contract, and his dear elder sister who sacrificed her life in order to give him a chance to live again at the cost of his eye but in exchange, had to be brought up by Lucifer who eventually became his immortal enemy.Β
