Well the character design was easily inspired throughout my childhood as I use d to watch vintage cartoon re-runs during the late 90's early 2000, I was probably about 7-8 years old that time and I admired just how funny it really was, watching Tom and Jerry, some Tex Avery, Looney Tunes and some 90's morning cartoons and the classic Animaniacs, it's what triggered my inspiration to draw, I first began my drawing using felt tip pens when I was 8, I used to sit on a little table inside and draw and draw and draw, it felt like the Artist drug sapped right inside me and at the age of 25 look at where I am now

I can see how watching those vintage cartoons helped you with designing
Chayton. I did much the same as you.I can recall many a Saturday morning
sitting in front of the TV drawing those old Looney Toons, Hannah-Barbbara
and many others as well.
You have quite a bit of talent with designing and drawing your own characters!Β

It's quite hard at times coming up with an original design, but he is certainly that way, what do you think?

I find that you've managed to impart into Chayton a very
believable personality. Particularly his eyes. Through them
you've brought him to life.
That's not an easy thing to do. Many a time I've seen excellently
executed characters but they lack life. Your characters do!Β

Even from what you said right there was probably the hardest part ever, it was frustrating me a little at first on how I can ace it I spent weeks watching some videos on Youtube watching the cartoons again and I had to really check on scenes and scenarios, the epxressions, how they act. A cartoon has a mixed emotion and I had to try and implement that onΒ my character, from the outside he's cuddly and cutesy but on the inside he delivers irritating, craziness and most of all he could do anything just to frustrate the other charcter.

You've succeeded with your attempt in giving Chayton those
very characteristics you've mentioned. He could have been cast in one of those
prewar cartoons of the 1930's,Β
But you've managed to take both old/modern qualities and
have created a very unique character.Β
